Chile’s currency is taking a shit compared to the Euro. A few days ago Chile’s was CLP527.20 to the dollar. How terrible. It’s said that 2/3rd’s of Chile’s goods are shipped off to Europe. You guys are working cheap. You should raise your prices and make things more fair. Why should the dollar or Euro be equivalent to 527 Peso’s? You people need to stand tall and refuse to work cheap. Make 1 Euro worth 1 Peso.

I can’t believe that Vapores laid off 700 people. That’s a whopping 18% of it’s employees. How do you people put up with this bullshit? That’s 700 people that won’t be paying the rent. That just causes a domino effect of bad things in the economy. You people need to stand up and refuse to be laid off. Work shorter hours. DON’T BE LAID OFF! Some money is better than $0. I’d rather work 1 or 2 days per week and take lesser pay than be laid off and get $0. You people need to fight for your jobs back at Vapores. Don’t take any crap from those people.
Also, why are the Mapuche Indians pissed off about building an airport on their land? Are they fucking nuts? They should be thrilled about commerce going on and be glad to get some money on some shitty, old land. I can’t believe these mofo’s were throwing rocks at the Chilean police.
